# Secure Wi-Fi & switching

The riskA shared Wi-Fi password that hasn't changed in years, guests on the same network as your company systems, or an infected laptop free to talk to every other device: each one makes an attacker's job easier.

Once someone is on your network, what they can reach depends on how it's divided up, and in many small offices it isn't divided at all.

 What it does- Wi-Fi 6 and 6E access points for indoor and outdoor use
- Separate networks for staff, guests and devices such as cameras or card machines
- Guest Wi-Fi with a sign-in page and vouchers
- Detects rogue access points pretending to be yours
- Switches from 8 to 48 ports, with Power over Ethernet for access points, cameras and phones
- Automatically isolates an infected device from the rest of the network, wired or wireless
- Managed from the same cloud console as your firewall and device protection, with zero-touch set-up

 How we supply itAccess points and switches are hardware, with a subscription for cloud management. We supply both, and we can plan, install and configure them for you at our standard day rate.

 What's under the hood**Sophos Wireless and Sophos Switch** — AP6 series access points and 100, 200 and 1000 series switches, managed from Sophos Fusion alongside Sophos Firewall. Together they can cut an infected device off the network automatically.

 Questions Do we need a Sophos Firewall as well?+No, both work on their own. Paired with Sophos Firewall and our device protection, they can isolate an infected device automatically.

 Can guests use our Wi-Fi without reaching our systems?+Yes. Guests get their own network, kept separate from company systems, with an optional sign-in page or vouchers.

 Can the switches be managed without a subscription?+Yes, locally through a web interface. Managing them from the cloud console needs a subscription.
