Cookie Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies our website uses, and why. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice, which covers personal data more generally.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (stored for a set period). Some cookies are essential for a site to work; others support analytics, preferences, or advertising.

2. Cookies we currently use

Cookie Type Purpose Duration Consent required?
triplepoint-<id> Strictly necessary Maintains your session as you browse the site (set by our content management system) 30 minutes, or until you close your browser No — strictly necessary cookies are exempt under PECR, but we disclose it here for transparency

We also run basic first-party analytics (page views and time spent on a page), self-hosted on our own server. This works by sending anonymous ping events tagged with the session identifier above — it does not set any separate cookie of its own, and no data leaves our own server. We do not use any marketing or advertising cookies, and no third party sets cookies or runs analytics through our site.

3. If this changes

If we add analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or any other non-essential cookies in future — as opposed to the cookie-free analytics described in §2 above — we will: list them here by name, purpose and duration; and ask for your consent via a cookie banner before they're set, which you'll be able to withdraw at any time. This section will be updated when that happens — check the "Last updated" date above.

4. How to control cookies

Because the only cookie in use today is strictly necessary for the site to function, there's nothing to opt out of via a banner. You can still control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time — note that blocking the session cookie may affect how parts of the site work.

Most browsers let you: see what cookies are stored and delete them individually; block cookies from particular sites; block third-party cookies; block all cookies; and delete all cookies when you close your browser. Check your browser's help menu for how.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website changes — for example, if we add analytics (see §3). The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Notice. Where the two overlap, the Privacy Notice governs personal data generally and this policy governs cookies specifically.
